iPhone & iPad · iOS 14+
Ten journeys, ten different games. Most are about leaving a place that is finished for one you have never seen.

Name your party and outfit them at a shop that will not let you leave unready. Then set a pace, ration the food, and answer what the road puts in front of you — hundreds of events with no obviously right answer. When someone dies, you write what goes on the stone.
Not ten skins on one game. Each has its own economy, its own clock, and its own way of going wrong.
Everyone has a trait, someone they are close to, and a fate written after the journey ends — whether or not they finish it.
Names, dates and the epitaphs you wrote carry across every run.
Spend it to face a bad roll again and get a genuinely new outcome. Bank it for the moments that matter.
Some reward arriving whole. Some reward losing well.
The whole game, start to finish. No account, no tracking, nothing to buy.
Found a bug, stuck on a road, or have an idea? I would love to hear it.
I read every message and usually reply within a few days. Telling me your device, your iOS version, and which road you were on helps me track things down faster.
Name your party, outfit them at the shop, then travel. Each leg you set a pace and rations and answer whatever the road brings. Watch the clock at the top — every road has one, and it is always running out.
No. The roads are hard in different ways and losing well is part of it. Feats, records and the graveyard carry across runs, so nothing is wasted.
Yes. Each day everyone gets the same road and the same seed, so the run is identical for every player. Scores are kept on your device in the current release.
Yes — every part of the game works offline. The first launch with a connection loads its display fonts for nicer type, but the roads, events, saves and sound all run with no connection at all.
Everything is stored locally on your device — runs in progress, career records, the graveyard, feats and settings. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Use the reset option in the records screen for a clean start, or delete the app to remove all of its local data.
No. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription.
Teens and up. There is no graphic content, but the game deals plainly with illness, hardship, death and choices that cost people something.
iPhone and iPad running iOS 14 or later. The game plays in portrait.

Say the Names ("the App") is a locally-stored, device-only application. The App does not collect, transmit, store, sell or share any personal data with any party.
The App uses your device's local storage to save your journeys in progress and career records; the graveyard, including any names and epitaphs you enter; your feats and statistics; and your preferences such as sound and volume. This data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to any server, and the developer has no access to it.
The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting services. It loads display fonts from Google Fonts on first launch when a connection is available; no personal data is sent in doing so, and the App works fully without it.
The App contains no in-app purchases and no real-money transactions.
The App does not collect personal data from users of any age, and so complies with COPPA and similar laws by not collecting anything in the first place.
All App data is stored on your device. To remove everything, delete the App — iOS will remove all of its associated data.
