FAQ

How do I play?
Drag back from your player to set the direction and power, then release. The same flick controls your passes, kicks, and runs. The main menu and team-setup screens walk you through choosing teams and starting a game.
What game modes are there?
Quick Play for a single game, and Franchise for a 32-team league you run over multiple seasons — drafting, trading, scouting, managing your stadium and finances, and chasing the playoffs. There are also one-off Scenarios and custom playoff brackets.
Can I play without the internet?
Yes. Pro Gridiron is fully playable offline. The first time you launch with a connection it loads its display fonts for nicer type, but every part of the game — logic, saves, and sound — works with no connection at all.
How are my games saved?
Everything is stored locally on your device, including your franchises, profiles, stats, and records. There are multiple save slots so you can keep more than one franchise going at once.
How do I back up or move a save?
Use Export Save to send a save file to the Files app, AirDrop, or anywhere the iOS share sheet reaches. On another device, use Import Save to load it back in.
How do I reset my progress?
Deleting the app from your device removes all of its local data and gives you a clean start. You can also start a fresh franchise at any time from the menu without affecting your other save slots.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
The current version has no ads and no in-app purchases — it's the whole game, start to finish.
Is there an online or multiplayer mode?
Not yet. The current release is single-player. Online play is something I'm exploring for a future update — email me if there's a mode you'd like to see.
What ages is it for?
Family-friendly throughout. The players are cartoon dinosaurs and animals, and there's no graphic content — just football.
What devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 15 or later. The game plays in landscape.

Privacy Policy

Pro Gridiron — Franchise (“the App”) is a locally-stored, device-only application. The App does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data with any party.

What we store locally

The App uses your device’s local storage to save:

  • Your franchises, player profiles, and customization choices
  • Your game progress, statistics, records, and achievements
  • Your in-app preferences (sound, difficulty, active profile, and similar)

This data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to any server, and the developer has no access to it.

No third-party services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services.

No purchases

The App contains no in-app purchases and no real-money transactions.

Children

The App is suitable for all ages. Because it does not collect any personal data, it complies with COPPA (the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar laws by not collecting anything from users of any age in the first place.

Data deletion

All App data is stored on your device. To remove everything, delete the App — iOS will remove all of its associated data.
